Seeking Housekeeper/Nanny
Nanny Needed - Busy family, with 15 children at home, seeks someone with a strong work ethic to help out in our home. Most of the children are old enough to be self-sufficient and will require little supervision. The youngest two, ages 3 and 4, will require more attention. The children are 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 17, and 18. Parents' work schedules allow for at least one parent to be with the children most of the time. We are located about 60 miles west of Washington, DC. We have adopted most of our kids from the foster care system. These are kids who have seen rough times in their short lives. It is our goal to give them love and support, while providing the tools they will need to be successful in life. We will expect the housekeeper/nanny to help with supervision of children in day to day activities, including meals, hygiene, school and chores. We run the school that our children attend, you would be expected to supervise the youngest children while the older ones are learning. In addition, the housekeeper/nanny would be responsible for general household cleanliness. The ideal candidate would be able to multi-task and maintain calm when things get crazy. An affinity for organization is helpful. We are looking for someone who is willing to make a long-term commitment. Change and loss is difficult for many of these children. Our family has received awards for our innovative parenting techniques. All of our children have made remarkable progress while living in our home. We can provide a unique learning experience for the right individual. Please contact Kelly #100118
