Private Daycare in my South Riding Home Nanny Available - I am offering full-time daycare for TWO children in my South Riding home. I am currently employed full-time but am exploring other options due to a drastic change in travel requirements for my job (less than 10 travel to 60 travel required). I am expecting and due mid-March and will no longer be interested in traveling 3 days/week with a newborn at home. I have over 15 years of childcare experience. I grew up with 3 younger brothers and started working as a mothers helper when I was 12 years old. I have babysat children with Down syndrome, ADHD, ADD, and was a volunteer at Children's Hospital in the Occupational Therapy department working with autistic children in high school. I was a nanny for the summer during my first year of college and right when I graduated from college in Manhattan. My experience with children ranges from infants to early teens. My house is completely smoke and pet free (I am allergic to cats/dogs). I have a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and a valid/clean driving record. My mother ran the ICU at Children's Hospital for 17 years and I was trained by her in CPR, infant CPR and the Heimlich maneuver at a young age. I am willing to take a refresher course. I can also have the state certify that my house is childproof. (I have heard of other people doing that, but don't know what to do. I would have to look into it further if that is something you would want done).
