I believe in allowing children to have a voice while also maintaining the fact that I have the last word. I am structured and organized but not inflexible. I use Timeout as the main form of discipline as well as incorporating some grounding of toys or items as needed, there will be no spanking. I believe in being firm, fair, consistent and clear in what I expect from children as well as my peers. However I do not believe in disciplining children under the age of one, I will love, be consistent and clear but I will not do timeout, spank etc.I had a great childhood as a Navy brat. As a child I wanted a large family of 8 kids. I would say that I am a loving and warm person, I love children and I don't get frazzled easily.
