Nanny Available - I would love to get to know more about you and your family. I am sure you would like to know a little more about me as well. My name is Ashley, and I am 18 years old. I moved to Syracuse with my boyfriend from Illinois about 3 months ago. I am looking for a position as a nanny during the days to pay for me to start school. I will be taking classes on line for my AS in early childhood education. Once I finish that and have a job I plan on combining it to receive my BA in elementary teaching. I love to be outdoors, and having fun hands on activities. If you're looking for a fun individual who will get your children away from the TV and spend one-on-one time with them I am for you. As of right now my boyfriend, Patrick, works construction with his friend. We still have a house on the market back home, but once that sales (hopefully very soon) we plan on buying a house closer to Salt Lake. For as long as I can remember I have told my Father I want to be a teacher. Children have always been a passion of mine. I seem to have a lot more patience and understanding when it comes to children. I am the youngest in my family, but I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces ranging form 1 month old to 3 years old. So I have had my share of children around me a lot. I have also done a lot of babysitting. I babysit on occasion for a lady who lives in North Salt Lake here as well. She has a 21 month old and a year old both boys. Back home I took 2 years of childhood education (birth to 5 with an emphasis on 3-5) and I took 1 year of parenting (birth to 12 mos). In the childhood class we taught a preschool of about 10 with 3 - 5 year olds. The student to teacher ratio was right at 1:5 most of the time. I would be available also if you needed me to come in little early, stay a little late, or be at your house on an extra date. That would not be a problem for me.
