I was in training to become a director for a new branch opening up, but I realized I liked caring for children better than handling the business aspect of childcare. I left because the director and I had a disagreement, and it was better to part than stay. We are still friends, and he is willing to give me a reference. I have been keeping my ears open for a part time position that doesn't keep me tied up all the time. I am newly married, and like to spend time with my husband. I really don't want many hours, and don't like working weekends. I have had trouble with other Mothers needing Child Care with this- they want me to be sort of "on call" and aren't offering decent pay. I am open to any offers, but to start I am looking for something 2-3 days a week, maybe 10-15 hours total. I am looking to make around $15/hour (negotiable). Since it is not top priority that I find a job, I guess I'm hoping to find something I want to do. I love taking care of children, and I'm very dedicated to it.
