Experienced Day Care teacher looking to become a nanny Nanny Available - My name is Rachel and I am looking to become a nanny. I currently work as a Preschool teacher for age 2. I have worked in preschool for a cumulative 4 years. Working in State Licensed Child care provider I am required to take 24 hours of training a year. I am also required to have CPR and First aid and I try to renew it yearly rather than the required two years. I am also required to have my fingerprints in The state system and a state run background check done every 5 years my last being may 2010 so should you run a background check (I would be happy to provide my info) you can rest assured I will pass. Also, I don't smoke or do drugs. I rarely even drink coffee. I am mostly alcohol free although I do enjoy one drink on a special occasion or holiday. I wopuld be more than willing to submit to drug testing as often as you see fit. The experience of taking care of 6-10 toddlers at a time has made me an ideal candidate to work as a nanny and I am prepared to dedicate myself to a family for more than a year. I have worked primarily with Toddlers however my experience is not limited to toddlers. I want to become a Nanny so that I can grow with a family. In the past I have bonded with certain children and then when they move up it breaks my heart or they still ask for me. Or when I go to lunch I have a class full of children crying to go with me.
