I have always loved kids and started my college career as an elementary education major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I later found my career goals changing which led me to California, where I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. I moved back to Missouri a couple of years ago to be near my family and to hopefully create a photography business in KC. But, like anyone who has started their own business, it all takes money, hence my seeking a position as a nanny. I want something that is flexible and allows me time to focus on my photography, plus kids make great portrait subjects! I've done a lot of babysitting in my day for friends, family, and just a lot of kids in general. I have a developmentally delayed sister whom I helped raise and just love her to death. Kids like that really put life in perspective. They make you see what is really important. I'm looking for a position that is either part time or preferably more full time. The age and/or sex of the child doesn't matter to me. I love em all. Before I took care of my three children in North Carolina, I already had experiences from my internships I did in a German kindergarten and I also took care of my neighbor's daughter twice a week for a couple of hours. Well, I know babysitting can be a hard job and you need to be very responsible and caring in order to be a good nanny. But as soon as you fall in love with the children, you take care of them as if it's the best job in the world. I miss all my children, all of them were great kids and fun to spend time with. I am very patient and use to be a good German teacher for the kids. You'll feel comfortable with me being your babysitter because of the experiences I have with different age groups and I use to take care for more than one child at the same time. I am energetic, fun and caring. I am majoring in international business and French and took classes in education, English and business for 2-1/2 years before I came here. I have a German and American driver's license and driving experiences in both countries but no car. I have classes on Mon and Wed all day long, Fri from 11-12 p.m, Tues and Thurs from 9.30-11.30.
