I pretty much organized everything until my host parents came back from work which was about 5 p.m. I prepared breakfast, drove the twins to school and the toddler to preschool. After I picked them up from school, we had lunch and started to do homework. I sometimes worked on weekends, which was my favorite time with the kids because there was no school so we could read books before they went to bed and we just enjoyed spending some quality time together. After I came back to Germany in order to study, I worked for a single mom with two little boys 7 and 4, she was a teacher and gave evening classes, so my responsibilities were to prepare some dinner and get them ready to go to bed. Before I took care of my three children in North Carolina, I already had experiences from my internships I did in a German kindergarten and I also took care of my neighbor's daughter twice a week for a couple of hours. Well, I know babysitting can be a hard job and you need to be very responsible and caring in order to be a good nanny. But as soon as you fall in love with the children, you take care of them as if it's the best job in the world. I miss all my children, all of them were great kids and fun to spend time with. I am very patient and use to be a good German teacher for the kids.
