Nanny Available - Hi I'm Kati, and I have been in child care for 9 years. I started out working in daycare then joined the Peace Corps and worked with children in grade school who were at risk of failing. After returning home I worked as a lead teacher in an infant room where I earned my CDA. While working as a lead teacher, I taught the infants basic sign language to promote early communication skills. Currently I'm working as a nanny for two children (4,8) and my one year old daughter accompanies me. Most of my experience is with infants but I have worked with all ages. I am also comfortable working with multiples. Additional information: I currently work as a nanny because I enjoy the one on one attention I can give the children. I have always enjoyed working with children and decided to become a Nanny when my daughter was born so that I could still work with children but be able to care for my child as well.I am a middle daughter of three girls and I also have step siblings. As a child I love being in girl scouts, camping, babysitting and softball. One of my favorite memories as a child was when my sisters and I would create dances to songs and preform them for our family.I enjoy doing crafts with children and one of my favorite things to do with infants is to introduce them to new textures from feathers to jello! I also enjoy camping, swimming, cooking and singing children songs with my daughter and the children in my care. I'm flexible with watching your child or children in your home or mine. I currently do a little of both but either way works for me! I am also only able to take a max of two children currently because of the size of my car, however if a SUV or Mini Van is provided during work hours I can nanny more than two children for you!
