Nanny Available - Experienced Christian mother of three beautiful children, now looking to help other parents with their little bundles of joy. As the years pass, I find myself closer to the "Empty Nest" theory than I care to think about. My oldest daughter will be 21 in Feb., my youngest daughter will be 15 in December and my son will be 11 this month (August). I have more than 30 years of childcare experience. This includes 2 years of owning my own childcare business in Yokosuka, Japan which was run through the MWR department, courtesy of the United States Navy while I was stationed there. I have Red Cross sponsored CPR/1st Aid experience and certification,.I currently help my roommate care for her 8 year old daughter and I have an excellent command of the English language. I have studied Cognitive Development, Music & Movement and I am well-versed in various techniques for communicating with children of all ages. I live in Antioch, CA but can go to most cities near-by, (San Ramon, Walnut Creek, etc)assuming there is a BART station within walking distance (or on bus route). I am in the process of repairing my vehicle so that it will be running in the next couple of weeks but in the meantime, I can get there by BART & I do have a valid CA Drivers' License. I love arts & crafts, reading, music (I've been professionally singing since I was in high school) and I just turned 45.
